The Advanced Yoga Studies program has been specifically designed to exceed the 200-hour Teacher Training program standards for registration with the Yoga Alliance (www.YogaAlliance.org).
The total program is over 200 total hours of instruction in training, teaching methodology, yoga techniques, yogic philosophy and anatomy.
The prerequisite is a minimum of 30 yoga classes with Sandy.

ELIGIBILITY & APPLICATION PROCESS –
The Advanced Yoga Studies Program is offered to those students who are interested in teaching and/or wish to gain a deeper understanding of Yoga philosophy, principles and the practice.
To apply for the program, you must have a minimum of 30 classes with Sandy, complete the application form (questions listed below), and have a personal interview with the Director of
Brentwood Yoga Center, Sandy Carmellini.
Brentwood Yoga Center reserves sole right to accept or reject any application for the program.
TUITION & REGISTRATON –
Tuition for the entire 200 hour Program is $2500.00.
PRIMARY PROGRAM INSTRUCTORS:
Sandy Carmellini is the director of Brentwood Yoga Center and a graduate from the Advanced Studies Teacher Program at the Yoga Room in Berkeley. She has been teaching yoga since 1998 and has held many yoga retreats around the globe. Her 18 years of experience as a corporate facilitator adds to her passion and expertise in training and education. Sandy also has a background in dance which influences her teaching style of incorporating movement and breath while focusing on detail. Her instruction is accepting and fun and always educational. Classes are taught primarily in the Iyengar method which focuses on creating healthy movement and balance in the body by using props to allow comfort, stability, and safety in yoga poses.
